Overview post

Okay,so I just went over this blog and noticed how sterile the newer posts are- what happened to the sketches and doodleblocks?

Truth is,I'm trying to recover from these past few months.A lot has happened and I think I haven't really been completely honest with mysewlf?I've been really nervous a few times this month and everywhere on the internet on my blogs and posts and what-not,I've just been rambling and rambling foreveer.Jeez.
(Edit)Okay so apparently blogger deleted all that impressive wall of text I'd written a bit before.I guess it's probably okay this way too.The point of that text was,I had attempted getting into the EKA (Estonian Art Academy) animation department recently.I didn't get past the interview.I'd been very dissapointed in myself for a while after that, but I think I got over that pretty fast.I have better things to do than mope :)
Before the school stuff,I got a new job.Before that I visited Stockholm with my two good friends,Miki and Josie.Before that...I was probably worried about the schoolstuff?Oh yeah,I tried
Anyway,what's happening now,is that I am writing from the computer at my new job,(if  I ever attempted to write this from home,there's a good chance I'll have to limit this post to this paragraph) and contemplating over character-design elements and internet-connection prices.Also,trying to figure our what step I take next incase I don't get into any schools this year either.Or just trying to find some extra options.Currently it is possible to send in applications for the EKA "Open Academy" and I'm considering?
But at the same time,I am at this really good moment right now,where I don't really feel sad about getting into somewhere or not getting into somewhere. And besides that I'm slowly slipping into a new drawing-groove so that's nice too <3
I'm pretty okay with my current job,the co-workers and boss are okay and I can handle the work schedule at the moment.

Guess what I'm trying to say is;there's no need to pretend being okay,just,enjoy life as you go.
And draw lots.


I'll try post some newer sketches and scribblings next time :)

Yes apparently I am.

I think this is some really sloppy work here, but I wanted to get it done quick 'cause this weekend I probably won't get to draw/post at all.So it's just gradients and slop-brushed on pink.
But i really like the way the pixels make everything kinda faster.Well, with my slow computer and all.

But i think I'm gonna finish this for reals some time other day.

Seriously,if all my inked stuff came out looking this clean.Still,I was pretty excited drawing with a calligraphy pen,for reals this time.Super-excited :3

 Oh yeah.This is Firegirl.She is an old character.I had a story for her but it's old.Old,old,old,boring.But inking is always exciting.It's a challenge!It's funnnnn

But these are actually really ugly.I suppose this is because I am just really,really inexperienced with this whole inking deali-o in general,but stopping from trying really wouldn't help at all,now would it?So,gonna keep doing this,for another eternity or so,and hopefully soon.Want to try more ways to iiink~
